Sugar


Coconut Palm Sugar is a natural sweetener made from “Nira” (Indonesian) coconut tree (Cocos Nicifera), as an alternative to cane sugar sweeteners or other artificial sweeteners.

Nira” is taken from the sap of palm tree nectar. Sap is then boiled (evaporated) until the moisture content below 5%. In the process of evaporation, Nira not added anything, such as dyes and preservatives. So, “sap” which is taken from the nectar of coconut trees were treated only just warming up the water content below 5%. That is what is called the coconut palm sugar, coconut palm sugar in particular that we have. So, coconut palm sugar, we are very natural!

Form of the product
Coconut palm sugar consists of two types (forms), namely:

1. Solid
Nira raw white as juice. Nira is in then heated so the water evaporates and only 5% moisture content. Toward the end, sap who has become pasta then pour into the mold. Nira will become hard and solid when cold and shape to be like the mold.

2. Granule / powder
Coconut palm sugar in the form of granules / powder has a lower water content than coconut palm sugar-solid. Coconut palm sugar-granule/powder have a longer shelf life, even up to two years. Such as sugar cane, the use of coconut-palm sugar granules more ptaktis and easy.

Usage
Coconut palm sugar is used as a daily sweetener in foods and beverages (tea, coffee, juice) and other uses :

1. Therapy in patients with certain diseases as a herb (because of low glycemic index, ie GI = 35).
2. As a sweetener of tea, coffee, chocolate and others.
3. Raw material for making soy sauce.
4. As a sweetener in food and beverage industry
5. And others.

Taste
Coconut palm sugar which is similar to having a sense of light brown sugar, but without the typical metal layer in the sugar cane. It has a beautiful record of light butterscotch and caramel with a smooth flavor rounded curves. It’s really tasty & delicious!

ARENGA PALM SUGAR
Arenga Palm sugar is a natural sweetener that comes from Indonesia. Arenga Palm sugar made from sugar palm tree sap (Nira), which was collected with the traditional but hygienic. Sap was then in dried by heating. When the sap has already reduced water content, then formed according to the order. Arenga Palm sugar has a moisture content below 5% so it can last a long time (durable). In Indonesia, arenga palm sugar type is referred to as “gula aren cetak” (solid arenga palm sugar). While palm suiker is palm sugar in the form of granule.

Arenga palm sugar is not only used as a sweetener, but also believed to cure various diseases if consumed regularly, with the dose and certain herbs. Therefore, arenga palm sugar prices are more expensive than the price of coconut palm sugar.

COCONUT PALM SUGAR
Coconut palm sugar is a natural sweetener made from the sap of palm trees. The drafting process with arenga palm sugar.
